Kangra Forest is all about First Experiences.
Harvested from Altitude: 2400 ft
The Kangra district, housing a total of 176 villages with stunning landscapes, sits on the southern spur of the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. Filled with lush green valleys, unique flora and fauna and culturally-rich communities, the vibrant nature of the district enhances the flavour of the raw honey harvested there. Honeybees in the region pollinate the distinctive flora dominating the sprawling forests, adding a floral hint to the honey. At an altitude of 2400 ft, beekeepers carefully extract the honey during the months of March-April. Needless to say, Kangra honey exhibits a irresistable and revitalising medley of new flavours.
